12/14/2023 0 Comments Fl studio vs ableton vocal lead![]() The only reason I haven’t upgraded is because of the whole M1/M2 Rosetta thing, and have read some people have issues with their plugin libraries when some are native and some are in Rosetta.īut just to reiterate, I highly recommend going for a Maschine and DAW combo. So to answer your question, it sounds like to me that FL would better suit you if you just want to start pumping out beats, and since you don’t already have a MacBook, but once again, if you’ve got that kinda cash, making a new MacBook is an exciting feeling. With all this said, I use Maschine to make 90% of my loops, then drag and drop audio into arrangement view, and I’ve used session view like 4 times in my life… not my cup of tea. Also, I’ve been using ableton for 7 years and I still find neat tricks and techniques I didn’t know about, there are a shit ton of functions, especially when you get into envelope editing. Ableton might have a shit and uninspiring UI, but it gets hella inspiring when you know how to quickly achieve what you’re looking to do. ![]() I also really like abletons way of managing send/return tracks, busses, and groups. That alone was enough for me to switch to ableton where automating is much more intuitive, have one of my favorite delays, and hands down my favorite stock compressor options, especially for sidechaining. I used logic and maschine for years, but I didn’t like logics compressors, delays, automation function, and found their instruments lackluster. ![]() If you’ve got that kind of cash, getting a new laptop and getting logic is a solid investment.
